The University of North Carolina at Greensboro celebrated its annual Homecoming weekend in more than 30 campus events for alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members, including two home Spartan soccer/volleyball games, and the naming of the Marcus T. Johnson Alumni House.
The three-day celebration began Oct. 17, featured two home games — men’s soccer and women’s volleyball — as well as receptions, reunions, performances, celebrations, ceremonies, and the annual Homecoming Bonfire lighting up the sky.
The naming of the Marcus T. Johnson Alumni House recognized the historic gift by UNCG alumnus Marcus T. Johnson, Class of 1999 as the beginning of the Oct.18 Spartan Fest.
