The Charlotte Crown continued their strong play Sunday afternoon, taking down the Greensboro Groove 91-79 on the road.
Charlotte put together another balanced offensive performance, with five players reaching double figures. Deja Kelly finished with 17 points, while Schaquilla Nunn recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Reigan Richardson added 13 points and seven assists, while LeLe Grissett and Michelle Onyiah each chipped in 10 points to help lead the Crown to victory.
Charlotte wasted little time taking control, building an early advantage in the opening quarter. Greensboro battled throughout the first period, but the Crown maintained its lead and held a 24-21 edge after one. The Groove continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, but Charlotte answered every run to carry a 50-47 lead into halftime.
The Crown remained in control throughout the second half, extending its lead and closing out the game with a convincing 91-79 victory.
Game honors went to Nunn, who delivered a dominant all-around performance while helping anchor Charlotte on both ends of the floor.
