N.C. A&TSU’s College of Arts & Sciences recognizes scholars

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s College of Arts and Sciences held its 5th Annual Donors and Student Scholars Recognition Breakfast on Friday, April 29. Support from donors help provide scholarships, book vouchers and cover living expenses for many academically gifted students. Contributions to the College of Arts & Sciences is currently valued at approximately $11 million.

The breakfast included a keynote speech from N.C. A&T alumnus, Dr. Bryant Moore, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the university in 1975 and a Ph.D in biochemistry form the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980. Moore is a member of the College Arts and Sciences’ Advisory Board.
