Saturday Night KO Fights: Ballroom Brawl III

Walter Johnson and B. Hairston Promotions presented the Saturday Night KO Fights Ballroom Brawl III held at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown on Saturday, October 20.

The bout card featured 10 bouts highlighted by two championship bouts. Lisa Garland of Columbia, S.C. won the ladies 10 round Welterweight WIBF Championship over Kerri Hill of Little Rock, AK. In an eight-round Heavyweight UMBC America’s Championship, Josh Tufte of Kernersville scored a first round TKO over Dennis McKinney of Charleston, SC. Tufte improved his record to 10-0 with six by TKO.

OTHER BOUTS

Middleweight Jovan Francois of Brooklyn, NY, scored a first-round TKO over Juanarius Broddie of Wilson, NC. Cruiserweights Yashua Zadok of Atlanta and Jovan Young of London, England fought to a draw. Lightweight Bobby Hornsby of Atlanta won a four-round decision against Sean Lockhard of Greenwood, SC. In another four round cruiserweight bout, Andy Joseph of Brooklyn, NY scored a second round TKO over Dalton Dixon of Raleigh. Middleweight Courtney Pennington of Brooklyn, NY had a 45 second TKO over Tyrone Brawell of Wilson, NC. Armin MrKanovic of New York won a Cruiserweight four round decision over Frank Edmondson of Durham and Josh Robertson of Lynchburg, VA , won an eight round decision over John Michael Terry of Virginia Beach, VA.
