Dudley Hall of Fame inducts 13 new members

The James B. Dudley 8th Annual Hall of Fame / Hall of Distinction enshrinement ceremony and banquet was held Saturday, October 3 at New Light Baptist Church.

The hall of fame was created to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions as students at Dudley High School and beyond in the fields of business/finance, community service, education, government /politics, legal affairs, arts /performing arts, and athletics.

Theme for this year’s banquet was “Enhancing the Blue & Gold Legacy.” The class of 2015 Hall of Fame inductees were: Amos Lewis Quick (Class of 1986), Arthur Colley Hood (Class of 1965), Rev. Dr. Charles E. Goodman (Class of 1997), Clarence Gilbert Grier (Class of 1983), David M. Dansby (Class of 1957), David Moore (Class of 1962), Dr. Denise Crews Greene (Class of 1974), Rev. Dr. Edward Jackson Best (Class of 1961), Ernestine Bennett (Class of 1964), John Phillip Troxler (Class of 1968), Pam M. Doggett (Class of 1986), Rufus E. Williams (Class of 1965) and Terry J. Keith (Class of 1973).
